Schedule & Progress

This is the place where you can have an overview of what is happening on site.

Progress for this month: 1st to 31st July 2010

North West building

  • Snagging of facade is ongoing
  • Commence paving of external areas
  • Internally the second, first and ground floor rooms have been completed and the snagging is ongoing.
  • The decoration and furniture installation is progressing within the library on the lower ground floor

North East building

  • The facades along Lupus Street have reached completion
  • Internally the M&E packages have been completed on all floors as well as the partition walls
  • Decoration is ongoing following the fixed furnitures and soft flooring
  • The timber floor of the activity and drama studio is ready to start

Assembly Hall

  • The M&E has been completed
  • This month the acoustic walls and ceiling will be the main trades operating internally
  • The granite installation is ongoing
  • The facade first fix is nearly completed and the zinc is about to start

The external works are progressing on all areas.

 

The steel canopy under the cascade stair has been completed as well as the bull nose along Lupus Street.

Schedule for this month: 1st to 30th June 2010

North West Building

  • The facades have been completed.
  • Internally, the decoration is ongoing.  The first floor has been completed and is ready for snagging. 
  • The Mechanical & Electrical commissioning has begun and the final lighting is on several floors.

North East Building

  • The facades are reaching completion and the metal canopy has been fitted. 
  • The Mechanical & Electrical packages are progressing on all floors and partition walls are completed. 
  • The painting, ceiling and doors installations are ongoing.
  • Progress on the acoustic screed on the music rooms will start this month.

Assembly Hall

  • The first fix is complete and the fitting is due to start.
  • The facades have been insultated and the steel frame forming the carcase of the zinc cladding is ongoing.
  • The frame of the roof connection to the North building is completed and work on the fitting of the glazed roof is about to start. 

External Area

  • The waterproofing on the hollow core slabs in in progress and the landscaping will begin next week.
