PARTNERSHIPS

Bouygues UK is working in close partnership with the Westminster City Council and the management of the Westminster City School to ensure the Project is developed successfully and that the objectives of improved educational standards and facilities are met. We believe that understanding our client’s needs and objectives is the key element for an effective and efficient co-operation and for positive long term results for all parties connected with the Project.

WESTMINSTER CITY COUNCIL

Westminster City Council is in the third wave of the national Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme to improve secondary schools across England and Wales.  The BSF programme aims to improve the quality of education provision for every secondary and special school student.   In Westminster, the improvement proposals will be supported by £152 million of investment in new and refurbished buildings and Information Communications Technology in seven secondary, two special schools and a Pupil Referral Unit.

Work has been underway at the first three schools - Pimlico Academy, St Marylebone School and Westminster City School - from January 2008 and works on St Augustine's School and St George's School began in April 2009.
