On Wednesday 2nd July the Southern Regional Operations Team from Partnerships for Schools held their monthly meeting at the Bouygues UK, Westminster BSF main site office which is located at Blandford Street in Marylebone Village.
As PfS is responsible for delivering Building Schools for the Future, the government's secondary school renewal programme, the purpose of the visit was to spend time at one of the sites to experience an operational team's working environment and gain some insight into the day-to-day running of the project. Westminster was the first of such visits as BSF hopes to continue to hold their regular meetings at other BSF site offices.
Subsequent to the meeting, the PfS team spent some time visiting the two sites which make up the St Marylebone School section of the project. These sites are situated on Blandford Street and Marylebone High Street.
Site Managers Mark MacRae and Veronique Tatarczuk took 13 members of PfS on a tour of their sites, providing talks about what is taking place on site, the future programme and phasing plans as well as answering any questions.
